Every father has a right to see their child deadbeat or not if shes that uncomfortable with it she need to get a court order stating that he can only have supervised visits and if doesnt work out then she gets full custody. Its what my sister did.

Yes. Child support and visitation are two separate issues. Your friend should go to the attorney general or the district attorney of her town and have him in court for the child support, but as far as visitation goes, she can't deny him visitation if there is a court order granting visitation.
If there is no court order granting visitations, as in if they were never married, then she needs to go to court and get child support and a reasonable and seasonable visitation plan that is acceptable to the courts.
This is the reason why you need to be married in order to be protected against problems further down the road. When young people have babies outside marriage, the children are unprotected from being the objects of which both parents fight over.
Tell your friend to register with the district attorney or the attorney general immediately to protect the child from being a problem in a custody fight or having the mother's parental rights terminated.

There actually is something she can do. There is a clause in the visitation rights that will only permit visits with the child at the home of the mother until the child is 2. She better get to looking for that. Think about it. If the new girlfriend doesn't like her she is not the person to be around her baby.
Think about it, protect the baby.

He as a father has rights but since the baby is not old enought to sepend a day or a weekend, you can arrange with him to have him for 5 - 8 hours minimum, but if the boy cries before he goes then don't allowed the boy to go. I had the same problem when my daughter has 6 months & it was time for her to go for 8 hours with her dad, but somethimes she didn;t want to go so I didn't allowed for her to go cuz one time I allowed for him to take her crying & she cry a lot & is not was not fair for her be crying... What you can do is allowed the father to take him for several hours & increase little by little so he can get used to him but if you feel like he is not being trated nice then don't allowed for him to go.Also what you can do & I did after one day my daugther came a dirty & with a rash cuz her dipper was not changed on time.. I took a picture everytime he pick her up & when he drops her ofcourse he should not know this,,,, cuz if he is not taking good care of him the court can limit his visitations & your boy will not be suffering...... GOOD luck !!!!

long story short, no she can't stop him, especially if his name is on the birth certificate, she needs to get a court order for child support and visitation, then she will be able to go after him and have him charged with contempt of court, but by denying him, it just puts her in the same boat as him. my husband and i went through it with his ex. it can work out if you follow the legal system

It's really up to the mother to decide. If they have joint custody of the child then she cannot do anything about it unless it goes back to court. Sorry.

calling that baby names is verbal abuse, i would never allow my child to be near someone who is abusing him, if he doesnt want to see his son fine, go for child support, or have him give up all rights
