Your neighbor is who ever is before you in each moment. The problem is that most people don't love themselves, so to love their neighbor in the same way is disastrous. I mean just look at all the "you're going to hell" statements we've seen...do you think those people love themselves? How we treat others is a definite indication of how we really feel about ourselves...we project a lot of stuff out onto other people. They become our mirrors. Those who have ears to hear, hear.

Everyone God sent his Son to love as neighbors. Even those you may disagree with. Of course, I should practice what I say. There are a lot of haters out there that only God could love. But, if you do love your neighbors as God loves us, than following the commandments should be easier to do

Jesus told us the parable of the Good Samaritan to explain that the correct question is not who is my neighbor, but what kind of neighbor am I? A neigbor is a fellow traveler in this life. We are being a good neighbor when we help our fellow travelers along their way.

Don't forget that the Bible wasn't written in English. I wish someone who had studied Biblical Greek could answer your question. Think of neighbor to mean more like "brother" which really means other mankind.

Translation and interpretation can be so cruel!!

on the time this got here up interior the Bible, Jesus replaced into having some worry out of the non secular mucky-mucks who enjoyed to create rules in accordance with God's Commandments, or recognize particular rabbi's interpretations of them. Jesus replaced into attempting to get them back to fundamentals. in case you look on the Commandments, that's what they volume to: Love God, Love Your Neighbor. And your neighbor isn't in basic terms the folk who stay on your community. in case you evaluate our very own goodness to God's goodness, isn't it astonishing no longer in basic terms that He loves you in any respect, yet how lots he loves you? this is the form of love He needs us to instruct others. If we are in a place to try this, it shows what we've skilled is actual. for people who make it difficult, He mentioned to instruct the different cheek. that would not propose you gotta keep on inquiring for worry, yet attempt to instruct them what God's love feels like despite in case you do no longer understand a thank you to furnish your guy or woman on the time. He did no longer say it may be worry-free. terrific desires.

Your neighbors are those people who are part of your community. Your community may include everyone or just some people. It is who you choose to associate with and build a future world with.
