Cold water and ice to stop the "cooking". Keep it clean and put on antibiotic ointment and a band-aide. Keep changing the band-aide daily, and keep using the antibiotic ointment until it's healed. If it isn't looking much better in a week, or starts looking decidedly worse take him to the doctor. And you can tell him "I told you so" for the next month. Lesson learned. (A parent can hope.)

Mix regular table salt or sea salt (it doesn't matter) in a cup of water. No need to measure...just make the solution strong to the taste. Have him soak his finger in it until it no longer burns. It works on even the worst burns.
Where there is salt bacteria cannot exist. It may take 30 minutes more or less...but it will no longer hurt to touch it etc. Talk to him or find a way to occupy his mind,it is painful in the beginning...but soon NO PAIN, also works for cuts, scratches etc.

Well, aloe vera would be the ideal thing to use. If you don't have an aloe vera plant, you can use the stuff that you put on to soothe a sun burn. That really works. If you don't have any of that, keep ice on it to help with the pain. If the skin is starting to come off, see a doctor.

Do you have some Ozonal, or any sort of unguent, like peneten or something. Is it blistered? You then would want to wrap it in a dry bandage with some burn ointment on it.

Make sure he puts cold water on it first (since it's a mild burn). Beyond that, I'm not a nurse, so I don't want to make things worse with a wrong suggestion. Hope it heals well.
