Grill over coals turning every 10 minutes for 40-45 minutes. Add barbeque sauce, grill, meat side down, another 10 minutes. Remove, put in 13x9 pan with 1 cup of water with another 1/2 cup sauce. Cover tightly with foil. Bake in 400 oven for 25-30 minutes. Very tender, with a grilled taste.

It is an artform, I have been doing it for 3 years at least 1-3 times a month and I still have a lot to learn. But easy beginer ribs... I can tell you that.

you will need: a big boiling pot enough to fit all ribs in there.
fill w/ water untill covered,
add 1 chopped onion
tbl spoon of garlic powder
tbl spoon of salt
pepper
1/4 c. of the bbq sauce you are using.

cook on high heat untill the meat pulls back 1/4 inch from the ends.
Drain, and put ribs in a baking dish
Cover w/ bbq sauce
Grill untill sauce carmelizes

If that's not your cup of tea. Search BBQ Bible on google (good recipes) But advanced cooking i.e. smokers, and indirect heat grilling.

The Secret to Cooking Great Ribs
Select a lean rib, cut off the visible fat. We like our ribs lean , tender and beautiful. Cook 'em low and slow. Two pounds or less'll take 4 and a half hours at 225 degrees. In the smoker is best.

Lay ribs out til they're unfrozen. Put your Magic Dust on it, let 'em sit for half an hour, an hour, two hours. Overnight really is best.

Just lay 'em on your grill real nice. Put the ribs (or other meat) on the side that doesn't have the fire under it, we call the "hot and not." Place the ribs on a rack over a pan of water ( about 1" of water). Fire up the other side of your grill. Set your temperature to 200/225 degrees. It 's important to know where 225 degrees is on your grill or pit. A small oven thermometer will do just fine.

Put your wood chips on your fire side. Take a piece of heavy duty aluminum foil, be sure to soak your chips (we like hickory), wrap them up real good and poke some holes in the top of your foil and then put them on your fire or coals. Now you're smokin'! Close your lid and leave them be. Don't be peaking. Just let them smoke. When ribs are tender and pulled back from the bone a touch, then and only then, is when we sauce 'em. Move ribs or meat to the hot side. Sauce 'em real good, bone side down first. Be careful not to burn 'em. When your ribs or meat get bubbly, not burnt, flip 'em. Sauce the other side 'til it bubble. This should take 3-5 minutes total. Remove from grill and enjoy!

When you are all done and cooled down, take your tongs and discard your foil package of chips in a metal container.

How should I put the sauce on the ribs?
The choices are dipping, mopping and brushing. Every chef uses a different way of slathering on their sauce. We like mopping, but feel free to experiment and use the method you like best. And, remember, you can always put some extra sauce on the side.

Fry them pork rib chops first and while they are still in the pan, pour two tea-spoon of soybean sauce / fish sauce directly into the boiling oil to make the dish smell good, don't do this too long lest it may cause a burning-bitter taste, just 60 seconds or less, then pour some stock, one small cup is enough. How salty the dish should be depend on your taste. You can make it more delicious by preparing the stock with Dried Shrimps dip in hot water for 1 hour, instead of soy-bean sauce or fish sauce.

Crock Pot for easiest method.

Cut rack of ribs down to one or 2 together and place around inside of Crock Pot standing up.

Salt and pepper slightly.
1 large Onion diced and sprinkle over ribs.
5 or 6 sliced Mushrooms Sprinkled over ribs.
Mix 1/4 cup Worchestershire Sauce, 1/4 cup Soy Sauce and 1/2 cup of water together and pour over ribs. (This is a marinade)
Put lid on pot and cook on high 2 - 2 1/2 hours
Drain liquid and throw away.
Add your favorite Bar B Que Sauce (I use Open Pit Thick & Tangy or Masterpiece adding alittle liquid Smoke and Tabasco Sauce for a richer flavor) over top of ribs and continue cooking for 1 - 2 hours.
Meat will fall right off the bones and is delicious.
Quick and easy receipt that I've been using year round for years.

The grill is a great idea. However, if you don't want to grill, put those bad boys in the oven and when they're almost done, put a few slice onions on them and drizzle on a little sauce of your choice.

We cook ours in the slow cooker. This keeps them tender enough to fall off the bone. We cook them low and slow all day, then pour off the grease and top with barbecue sauce.
