From the very begining the Catholic church has done nothing but help to reveal and illuminate the sum total of all God's truth.

Catholic scholarship has provided the world with an unbroken chain of documents and scripture that allows even the spiritually ignorant to discover God's absolute truth.

Catholic Tradition has preserved the small but significant details, and the nuances of the Holy Spirit, that have never appeared in scripture, yet serve to "fill in the blanks" between what people think they read in the bible and what the scriptures actually teach.

It's unfortunate that so many people are simply unable to accept this. They prefer to believe lies, and so allow themselves to be deceived by false teachers.

If the Catholic church is so great at keeping secrets, why couldn't they keep the recent sex scandals secret?

People who blindly repeat lies and falsehoods about God's church ought to do a little authentic research, before they someday have to appear in front of Jesus, who is the head of the Catholic church, and have a lot of explaining to do.

Look! The DaVinci's code is fiction. Period!

The central belief of the Christian Church deals with the nature of Jesus: Is he God, not man; Is he both God and man; or is he just man. The Christian church (catholic as in universal) chose both God and man. Other chose something different.

When the Christian church become the official religion of the Roman Empire, title Pontiff (chief religious office) went to the successors of Peter. It is at this time that the Roman Catholic Christian church started to suppress other alternatives.

When the West and the East, there was also a division from Roman Catholic (Pope as the Earthly leader). Not until the Protestant Reformation that other denominations appears, for example Unitarians (one God, Jesus man).

The real break through came with the biblical studies of the 19th Century; rediscovering of the ancient texts showing a number alternatives, for example Gnostic gospel.

Obviously, there is much more; however, the hidden truths were written during 2nd Century AD. They have been identified and published for all to see (largely due to Protestant efforts based on the belief that the way to God is by the Bible). Again these writings are available.

So the answer to your question, is yes the Roman Catholic church has hidden "truths", but is not the truth you were looking for.

me look i never knew this was true

first we'll start with the catholic facts

1.catholics are mammals.
2.catholics pray all the time
3.the purpose of a catholic is to flip out all the time and burn the non-belivers at the stake

catholics can kill anyone they want! catholics burn people ALL the time and don't even think twice about it. These guys are so crazy and awesome that they flip out ALL the time. I heard that there was this catholic who was eating at a diner. And when some dude dropped a spoon the catholic whent on an inquisition of the whole town and burned everyone at the stake. My friend Mark said that he saw a catholic totally uppercut some kid just because the kid opened a window.
If you don't believe that catholics have REAL Ultimate Power you better get a life right now or they will burn u at the stake!!! It's an easy choice, if you ask me.

The Catholic church is based on lies, so it doesn't matter how many truths they hid.

The Trinity (Jesus is God) has been proven to be a lie, but billions of people still accept it as the truth.

"An Historical Account of Two Notable Corruptions of Scripture is a dissertation by the English Mathematician and Scholar Isaac Newton. First published in 1754, twenty-seven years after Newton's death, it reviewed all the textual evidence available from ancient sources on two disputed Bible passages, at 1 John 5:7-8 and 1 Timothy 3:16."

If you look at the Vatican website you will see that they have sneakily removed the second commandment , "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them."
And so there is still 10 commandments, they have made the 10th into two! This is corruption of Gods most Holy word and is VERY serious.
In Rev 21:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city........."
The whole RC teaching is SO corrupt it STINKS. I used to think that by being a "good" catholic would get me a seat in Heaven, I didn't know the scriptures, that Christ has already paid the price on the cross, and "It is finished". I did not know that salvation was a free gift from God, i thought I had to earn my way to heaven, as that is what I had been taught. But now I see that the Holy Scriptures are correct and the RC teachings are SO corrupt from their non existent purgatory which is nowhere to be found in scripture, from their prayers to the dead, which is witchcraft, their worship of idols and images, and the total blasphemy of the mass where they command their little jesus to do what he is told by the almighty priest who does his hocus pokus trick and his god obeys him,
Oh yes the Roman church of today is the most wicked organisation going. She holds many treasures from the Jews of the holocaust in her vaults,. The pope is indeed the Antichrist of scripture with his false gospel and false hopes for the people they lead along the pathway to hell.

Hidden a lot of truths?? Well, n this day and age, I figure someone should have been able to fully uncover such hidden truths!! All in all, no. I don't think the Catholics are hiding sacred truths. They just aren't speaking them outloud.

It's not that they hid any great TRUTH'S, you've heard just about all that Christianity has to offer. What do think they're hiding, time travel, immortallity? What?

But they have seemed to added a lot, in the many years since Christ was born. Go figure, 2,000 years, and a lot of conversations later, people think they're holding out!

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT HIDDEN TRUTHS BUT I DO KNOW THAT THEY CHANGED THE TRUTH OF GOD. ONE BIG TRUTH THEY CHANGED IS THE 4TH COMMANDMENT CHANGING SATURDAY TO SUNDAY FROM THE 7TH DAY TO THE 1ST DAY THIS IS A VERY BIG DEAL. BECAUSE THE 4TH COMMANDMENT IS THE TEST COMMANDMENT IT LETS GOD KNOW IF YOU ARE GOING TO OBEY HIM.
Ex 31:17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
