If you lend your mother over $300 do you have the right to ask for it back after 6 months?

I gave her the money at the end of January with the promise that I would get it back. I have asked her for it back and she still refuses to give me the money.

if there was an agreement that the money would be payed back, then yes you have the right... if there was no such agreement and you've never asked for it back before, then you are kind of wrong to ask for it back...

When I lend money, I always know there is a chance that I may not get it back. So, based on the applicant, I decide whether or not to lend them money because the next question is, Is the relationship you have with your mother worth $300?

for me, do u know why ya mom need tht money or where she spent on? if her usage on it is reasonable i guess u shud think of her situation and dun be so fussy on it. Coz i guess she did spent >300 on your expenses rite>? why u muz be so restrict that there is a agreement ? den if ya mum didnt commit wil pay back wil you stil lent her on tht time?? ..another way, if she use it on bad stuiff eg: gamble i think..u shud ask from her back.
