Ummmmm, as a black man I can only speak for mine and at no point in time (39 years old as of last sat.) has my penis ever been grey. What you are seeing is the skin in that area is very much so not as dark as the rest of the shaft because of the close proximity to the body and the fact that the skin is not as tight there.
