I took my daughter to buy a doll once when she was 3 or 4. We paid for the doll and she couldn't wait so she opened it when we got in the car. To my surpise, we picked out a black doll and we are white, so I said to her we can exchange it. She just looked at me and said why?
We kept the doll.

I used to dwell on past mistakes and have regrets. They used to haunt me over and over.

One day, my little girl said, "Mommy, when you make a mistake, you fix it, learn from it and move on! That's what I learned in school today."

Fix it, learn from it and MOVE ON.

How profound.
