First of all whoever thinks that boxers have bad temperaments are not that smart themselves. Boxers are know to be extremely loving dogs, with both people and other animals. But anyways you should find a reputable training facility near you and see what they can do to help you.

Muzzle will do the trick. I have owned 5 boxers, no greater dog in my book. Are sure its wanting to fight, all my boxers have been very very playful to the point it scares people, but they mean NO harm at all...anyway, the muzzle should stop it

I have a female boxer and she acts nothing like that. Maybe she was abused as a puppy, however; if you have had her since she was a puppy she nay be just a little too protective. If you have not had her since a puppy, you may need to send her to obedience school.

The best way to introduce him to your boyfriend is for her to meet him over at his own house. He can make friends with her over there and give her treats, then she will know him when he comes over to your house and won't feel so territorial.

PetSmart has training / obedience classes. Go there, and get her around other dogs and people in a trusting environment.
