no, definitely not. I, myself, am in an interracial relationship. I like her parents, and I love her, and everything is just wonderful :) Race has never for a moment influenced my choice, and I haven't regretted it for a moment.

This is something that I have dealt with for all of my life and I just turned 39 last Saturday. I have dated inter-racially for ever and have never been with a black woman before. It is not that I do not find them attractive not at all. However, the women that seemed to give me the attention or interest have always been either white or Latino. I am divorced, my ex is white and we have a beautiful biracial daughter who is 11. I have and will continue to teach her that love has no color just as I was raised. Lastly, I do believe with all my heart that who you fall in love with is just that and color has no bearing whatsoever. By the way I am black and my parents are as well.

i'm black, 33 yrs. old as of the day earlier to this & Biracial all and diverse is staggering! My Dad is biracial and he completely rocks! Interracial relationships are the "new" ingredient because all and diverse is searching for romance anyplace they could and taking off to seem "outdoors" the field. i does not pick to reduce myself to black adult males (besides, if that were the case, i'd finally end up being unmarried until eventually i'm 50 and that i understand that). i'd also evaluate relationship someone from yet another united states of america- Europe, as an get mutually.

Biracial is not something that is for me, but I know a couple that is biracial and had a very good and fruitful marriage. I know they had a lot of ups and downs because of their differences, but the fact that they truly loved each other is all that mattered in the end! He passed away a few years ago and left a big void in his family. His inlaws who did not approve of the relationship in the beginning grew to love him unconditionally and really do miss him now that he is gone.

first being biracial is alright its who you are, there will be times when it will be tough. my wife is black and i'm white there are alot of beautiful biracial kids. people fall in love with people it does'nt matter what or who they are. i think that it only plays a crucial part in those who are blind sided by thinking we have to stay with our own culture i love my wife very much i didn't look at the color i looked at the person. and we've been very happy together and i know that we'll cute kids together.

For me, it doesn't play a part; if I fall in love with someone, it's because of THEM, not their skin color.
Unfortunately, there are many people in this world who think that someone's race defines them as a person. The color of my skin is a part of me, of course, but it is by no means all of me. There is so much more!
How can you discount a human being because of their race? I don't understand that.

It only plays a "crucial" part to numbskulls. My lady-friend is black and I'm white. We're both quite aware of the difference, but it matters very little. Really, why should if matter if her hair is nappy and mine is straight?

It does but sweetie if you feel your hearts in it and he feels his heart is in it then you should go for it.Love itself is complicated and of course there are ignorant people who challenge your relationship just because of your color but I have dated a white man and it didn't work but it wasnt color issue-he was an ***. My mom was married to a white man for 15 years-it's no different than any other relationship-it just takes work.

hey
people can be cruel! and you have to do whats best for you and your situation. you are correct you cannot help who you fall for, love can be very beautiful, and also very trying. i recently seen something new with sanai lathan and thought it was soo cute! we are not aliens, because we are black, and they are not superior because they are white, we are all just people, two arms, two legs (most of us, lol) we should do what feels right!
btw, race should be the major factor, GOD should!

It should not matter. If you love the person and they love you then it should be ok. Slowly things are changing. There are not nearly so many redknecks left as there were when your parents married. Have courage.
