The OTC ones are basically as reliable via fact the prescribed ones. The OTC ones have each and all of the supplements which you and toddler desire. Yes, practically any retail pharmacy sells prenatal vitamins in their regular vitamin aisle. I bought a 100-ct bottle by Nature Made for about $6. KMart sells a few different ones as well.
Make sure the one you buy has Folic Acid in it!

Any health food store would have pre-natal supplements in stock. Ask the worker there, most are trained in alternative health care (herbs, etc) and will be able to guide you in the right direction. Make certain you get one with folic acid..
Congrats!

Definately, just make sure there is no large amounts of Vitamin A.
Try Target, or Walgreens.

Yes, they are available in any Walmart, Walgreen, or other pharmacy on the shelf. A lot of people who aren't pregnant use them for growing their nails and hair.

Yes, you can find them anywhere and if your in your 20's and 30's, my doctor suggests taking them anyway. For the folic acid, so if you want to have children your body will be ready.

They should be in the vitamin section at your local pharmacy. They are not a controlled substance.

Yeah, at any drug store. If they make you nauseous, you'll have to get some from your doc that won't. If your budget is tight, she usually has a desk full of samples she'd be happy to share.
