It's a nice, interesting accent. It's very nice to hear (at least to my U.S. ear), especially once you get used to the word differences.
I don't really have a favorite accent. Along with Australian accents, I like many of the dialects of the southeast United States, and most Western European-accented English. If the person is someone I enjoy talking with, I'll usually embrace whatever accent comes along with it.

I am an Australian and I found that by having an accent when I was in Europe I got a lot of free drinks in bars.
For some reason Australians are very popular, even if we do talk 'funny'.

I like most accents. I like the Australian accent because it just sounds like Australians are fun, easy going and down to earth. It is a very enjoyable accent to listen to.

To me almost any accent is hot, Australian included. But my favorite would have to be the British accent.

If the guy is hot, the accent is hot. I personally melt over an English accent. Don't get many here in America.

The Australian accent is probably my favourite of all.
Especially since i am Canadian, and therefore have no accent at all.
