That at some point in your relationship all of a sudden ALL you can think about is your significant other.. No matter what, no matter where,. I am honestly disturbed by this, I thought we outgrow that feeling after middle school crushes. But god, all that is on my mind lately is my boyfriend, my boyrfriend, my boyfriend. I keep myseslf busy too, its not that I dont try to fix that...but geez!! What is wrong with me... ( we are in our twenties for crying out loud..)

What this means is that you truly love the one you are with. That is a healthy reaction. I believe it is a good thing. I am 43 years old and am that way about my current partner. You should tell your boyfriend, so he knows. His knowledge of your feelings will help if you start to smother him. I pray that he has the same feelings and you are always on his mind. This is one of those relationships that has the opportunity to last forever. Good luck!

there has to be a good reason why he is on your mind so much.... how long have the two of you been together? are the two of you not spending as much time together as you used to? have you been having bad arguements lately? is he hanging out with new friends, where you are feeling jealous?
my man was on my mind all the time, when I first fell in love with him...., and to some degree he's always there still.... years later!

You need to read up on codependency and the cure. It is an unnatural relationship when you are totallly tied up in the other person and sacrifising your true self. Get help. Learn about it.

i am 21 and i always think about my best friend. she is the love of my life, even though we are not together yet. I've been thinking about her for every minute of my life for the last 5 years.

It's healthy to have those strong feelings, but just remember.. It's YOU who's creating them, not him. He may feel the same way, but he is also responsible for his feelings. Cherish it and don't smother him because of it.

Oh BTW - congratulations!
