If you have a significant other it would be rude to go without him. Why would you want to? Yes I would think you wanted to cheat.

A significant other isn't your spouse is it? go out and get drunk and have some nasty sex if you want.
Is that is what your thinking?
Ohh grow up, going out for drinks with anyone of any sex is no big deal,. Most likely the new friend of yours just wants to go have a drink and needs someone to chat with while tipping one back.
If it makes you feel better go with some other people too, you'll get other persons intentions pretty quick.

it depends, why are you going for drinks with someone you don't know to well if you have a significant other?? is this a mutual agreement between the two of you that you can got out with other people?
if you are serious about your significant other, yes this could give him reason to doubt your faithfulness.

If you're in a mature relationship and it doesn't go beyond the drinks, then I don't see a problem with it. However, most people would. So, I would just suggest you inform your significant-other that you're having drinks with someone else...and make it a quick night!

"Significant other" !! Sounds like you are just a little queer. How do you know which is the opposite sex? I would hope you would not go out with anyone of the opposite sex or the same sex or whatever you and your type call sex. "A bunch of sick-o's" would best describe you and your "Significant other".

You need to ask yourself a few questions first:
Does your significant other know you are going out for drinks?
What is the purpose of meeting this person for drinks?

"Signifigant other"? Now, if that means a same-sex partner my answer may not be valid.
If you doubt that person's faithfulness, even a trip to the corner store should cause unease, not just drinks.

OK so you or your significant other went out with some one for drinks that they didn't know that well.right. or you want to. OK the only way that's OK is if its with a group that include people you do know or if its business. other wise I don't think is OK.

Yeah, Rob, it's okay.
I'm sure you wouldn't mind your wife/ girlfriend having a drink with some guys she barely knows -- without you.

No, its not OK. You have to be secure within,to determine faithfulness.....and if you have to doubt you don't need the other...
