My favorite used to be buttermilk w/ kelly green trim... then it became a fad where we lived. It seemed every other house on our block was painted that way! When we do our house next time I want to have cedar siding put up and leave it it's natural colour, with a clear coat to protect the wood.

Since it has not been specified as to the interior or the exterior of a house, i will assume it to be exterior. When treating the exterior of a house with colour, it is always important to try to marry it to the landscaping in some way.Also important is the size and style as far as colour. Try to create a spirit instead of just a colour.It should also be welcoming.

ANYTHING BUT taupe, tan, light brown, gray, etc.
I like a pale yellow - it's still fairly neutral, but it stands out from those god-awful brown houses that are taking over the city. Don't pick anything too trendy - it's a lot of work to paint a house, and a lot of money to re-side one.

Depends on the house, but I really like a pale yellow. Or a log cabin house

nice green with white or light/dark green trim and red roof! bold! AND I AGREE ~ no freakin' brown/ band-aid color that is taking over the vinyl siding industry!

it depends on house and the furniture placings.but i like light bordeax and pale yellow
