well for starters dont talk like that brainless idiot the crocodile hunter he has an american accent and uses dumb words that no other self respecting aussie uses...it would be like us thinking that everyone in the US talks like the cast out of Happy Days..and dont take any lessons from the voice coaches that teach actors on american tv to talk like an aussie either cos thats worse than steve irwin's... the only way you will really learn is to come to australia and stay here for a while then go back home all your friends will say you have an aussie accent but everyone here will still say you dont' have a freind who was an exchange student from newyork stayed here for about 8 months we still thought she sounded like a yank... but when she went home everyone there said she had the greatest aussie accent...so I guess its the little things you pick up from being around a certain type of accent

Good question. Sometimes I sound so American and I don't like it at all. Is somebody available on skype or WML to teach me how to speak like an Aussie?

the best way is to watch and listen to aussie programs. you could try to pick up the accent and slang from it. mind you, it's kind of difficult to mimic the accent. good luck, though!
