How do I get ready for high school?

Its very intimidating. Can you find me a first day of school outfit.Somewhere that doesnt cost alot? Im not rich, and I need to decide. I also need to know what to expect and what to prepare for. Tell me what I need and What I need to do. I will give points to the best answer I find!

First baby girl relax, relate and release. Although high school is suppose to be your beginning steps to the real world you must also have some fun too, not too much you have college to think about later. Next, make sure you are focused and get all of the knowledge you can while you are there. Like the old saying, "A mind is a terrible thing to waste." Now know that you will have some friends that just want to have fun and hang out, make sure you have your priorities in tow before you decide to chill with the in crowd. Remember you are in high school for a purpose, and that purpose is to prepare you for college or whatever goals you have set for yourself. As far as not being able to afford a first day outfit, don't let that stop you from pursuing an education. My favorite inexpensive places to shop are Wal-mart and Target and if you can't get everything you want they do have lay-away except Target(dangit!!!) So with all of this in mind, set your goals, prioritize your school time with your down time, make sure you get a good nights rest and eat a healthy breakfast and if you have questions whether you think they are crazy, ask anyway.

Highschool is far from the scary part, the scary part is after high school. That's when the fun BEGINS and you become the young bright adult that I know you are and are ready to be. And dont never, never ever let anyone tell you, You can't and You won't because you can and you will. And most of all enjoy life!!! Holla back at me cuz I have been there and done it. Did the highschool thing, been to college twice and will be graduating in December!!! I believe in YOU!!!!

Girl go to somewhere like Old Navy, find a complete outfit for the first day(including some cute shoes). Get something you will feel cute and comfortable in. Okay once you get that out of the way hit the books, hard. Reading and good study habits are important in high school, expect to be challenged intellectually. Give your brain a good work out and you will be ready. And relax, kid high school can be one of the best times of your life.

Right now a lot of stores are having huge Summer Clearence deals. Some cute/ cheap stores are Old Navy, vintage stores, Target, Teenage Millionaire (http://www.teenagemillionaire.com/home.htm), Alloy, Delias, Pac Sun, Forever 21, just to name a few. First off don't buy the first thing you see on a mannequin. Be original...created a look that is unique. You'll stand out in a crowd rather than look like everyone else. For tips try Seventeen magazine. Also makeup...if your allowed to wear any (some parents are strict) rememeber less is more. Stick to the basics Mascara, Lip Balm, or Lip Gloss, + a little blush. Don't wear eyeliner!!! unless you use eye shadow cus again...you'll blend in.

As for eveything else...be friendly...don't form a click...right away. Be open to different people who aren't like you, join clubs, try out for sports, + most importantly just because your in high school doesn't mean your hot stuff. Remember your still pretty young...so stay away from drama + gossip + other things. Go to dances even if you don't have a guy as a date go as a group with a group of friends. Don't do things your gonna regret...because in highschool gossip goes around like wildfire. If your having problems make a study group with friends or don't be a afraid of asking the teacher for help. Teachers are really nice + if for some reason they are a prick.. cus trust me there will be jerks...go to the counselor to find a tutor or find out what the teachers problem is. Also make sure your parents particpate in your schooling. As them for help too. Invite your parents to games, plays, concerts, etc at school. Have 'em join the PTA. First off, high school isnt as bad as all the movies say. When it comes to fashion, don't dress to impress, wear what you like and are comfortable in. On the first day of school there is enough stress so making sure you look great shouldn't be another stress factor. But if you are looking to look great and be comfortable, go to Kohl's. They have great clothes and prices but make sure you find something that YOU like and don't worry about whether anyone else will. That goes for everything in high school! Just be yourself!

i'm no longer a freshman, i'm a junior yet listed right here are some information. actually stay centred in college. do not get stuck up in drama, it isn't properly worth it and keep up including your gpa. in the experience that your gpa continues to be severe in the time of freshman 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and also you keep it up you're incredibly a lot set on your h.s. existence. highschool isn't scary. There aren't any propose lady cliques like they attempt to portray contained in the films. purely be your self and carry out with the ppl you experience maximum smooth with. no matter if or not they're the most cool.

Clothes:
try AJ wright, or target- look for a nice fitting pair of jeans and a nice pink tshirt or something like that- also, try looking for a pair of cargo pants because those are the cutest pants out there in my opinion. i got mine at hollister for 20 bucks theyre really cute and cheap.

Schoolwork:
start reviewing things little by little before school starts. try hard all year to keep ur things organized and get on the good side of ur teachers! as long as u try ur best, thats really good.

Friends:
As long as ur nice to people and start to get in with the popular clique, theyll carry u all the way through school and i GUARANTEE u it will all work out for hte best. Good luck!!!

just be yourself...no need to get all worried about it. A pair of abercrombie jeans, any colorful top and some flip flops should do the trick. It's all about keeping it simple and not overdoing it cuz then people start to notice. If your hair is stright, try curling it or vise versa and most importantly...be friendly and try to get to know other people!...good luck!

High school is by no means as big a deal as you think. Making friends is the hard part, and you probably already have friends. Nobody's going to notice what you're wearing, they're going to be too nervous.

Wear comething that is not over the top, I would focus come on my hair, you should make it look really nice and wear a cute lil pair of earrings. You can go dressed all casual but cute with a nice tracksuit and a cute necklace.
