Been to Universal Studios Hollywood?

I agree with the others, Studio Tour should be done earlier in the day. Not only to avoid crowds, but also because it is the first attraction that closes in the park. The lower lot of USH closes half an hour before the park does. Another tip is that Back to the Future, the Mummy, and Jurassic Park (during the summer) lines tend to get long FAST (esp. Future). For shows, you'd want to arrive at least 10 minutes before showtime. Some shows, such as Terminator and Waterworld, do not allow late seating. So arrive early to guarantee a seat. If you have little children, Blast Zone and Shrek 4-D is for them. If they're under 48" you can get a discounted ticket because they won't be able to ride a few rides. For thrills: BttF (simulator), JP (water ride), and the Mummy (indoor roller coaster), T2-3D (3D show with live actors), Van Helsing (haunted maze). For behind the scenes look at Hollywood, the Studio Tour, Special Effects Stages, and Backdraft. [not all attractions listed]
If you're looking for a one-way path around the park, I can't exactly give you one. It all depends on what your priorities are, and what kind of food you want and what time. If you want to see every single show and attraction, try planning around the shows. These can provide a foundation for your itinerary. Including the time it takes to enter and exit, most shows should take about 25-30 minutes of your time. If you need more info, just ask.
