Personally, I think that Pagan is a beautiful name. It really doesn't matter what the meaning is, look at some of the names that are out there these days...it's like people pulled out letters from the Scrabble bag and used that.

It's cute, but she might get flack from peers. Just to warn you, If you really like the name, consider it among other options that are also pagan related. There are alot of great Goddess names. I am going to name my daughter Iris after the Celtic Rainbow Goddess.

Personally, i think that the name, without the attached meaning, is original and i kinda like it, but i think that you must conider the fact that it has a name that would probably be frowned upon by society (not to mention everyone else that has answered thus far). i dont think anyone should be given that name, just because of the social issues they will face.

Personally i do not like it. Where does it come from? Did you make it up? Honestly, it makes me think of a penguin. Its one of those names that teachers will have trouble calling out at roll call and will embarrass the child horribly because no one can say it properly.

Absolutely not, pick something plain that will not get your child laughed at or discriminated against for the rest of her life. Think about all the job interviews, college interviews and meetings where people will go "WHAT?"

Sorry but I think that is an awful name. But it doesn't matter what me or anyone else answering says. It is your baby and you should name it whatever you want regardless of what other people think. Good luck!

I would steer clear, as it's religious but not cutesy or common enough to avoid ridicule. If you want something with religious overtones, there's always the new fad 'Nevaeh'

Dont ever give that child your name.

They will get bullied--called names--and beaten up--I would advise to stay clear of religious sounding names.
