There is a gal that i know from a net friend. We have been chatting for a month but we never meet before. However, we do know how we both look like as we did share photo before. We plan to meet up soon. The problem is my actual appearance is not as attractive as in photo. The photo have been edited to hide those acne scare i have. I am afraid that if we meet up, she will dissappointment as i do not look as show in photo and worst case we will only be friend only. Not more than that. What should i do now ? Should i meet her ?

I thinking of meet the gal at starbuck. This is a normal venue to meet someone in Malaysia. Beside starbuck, can anyone give some suggestions ?

If she is so shallow that she would not like you because you have a scar, then she's not worth your time anyways!!! I would definitely meet her, what's there to lose anyway?

Yes, I think you should take a chance and meet her. The longer you wait, the harder it will be for you to muster up the courage to meet her in person. Some of the best things in life come about only after we have taken risks.
A friend of mine met a girl he had been talking to over the phone. Unfortunately, she had sent a picture of someone else! She was a little overweight, and that didn't matter, but what bothered him was that she had been dishonest. At least you sent a photo of yourself and not someone else! Maybe you could send an untouched photo to her, if you think that will help.
Of course, you risk the chance that she might not be attracted to you, but that is a risk everybody takes, so please don't fret about acne scars (who knows, she might have them too). Personally, I know I don't mind guys with acne as long as I like a guy. Besides, you are probably your own worst critic. (If you still have acne, I recommend Proactive and Dessert Essence "Thoroughly Clean Face Wash" with tea tree oil--both products have helped me.)
Relax and have fun. When you meet her, don't rush into things. Some of the best romantic relationships start as friendships first anyway. And if you don't meet her in person, you'll never know.

Unfortunately, there's nothing that you can do. If you lied to her, and you did by altering your appearance, you're going to have to hope that she likes your personality and you as a person and can look past your looks. I think if you care about someone, you can get past the looks, however, you lied, and that's a lot harder to accept than acne scars.
My advice to you is to show her a picture that hasn't been retouched. Tell her the truth before you meet and show her a real picture before you meet. Don't wait until you're face to face to let her know, or let her see.

I think u should meet her. she might think u look as good in the picture then u do now. i say go for it. if u try 10 times 1 has to be the good 1. just make it the good 1!!!!

Of course you should meet her. But if you would feel more honest about the whole thing, tell her before hand what your fears are. How she reacts to this will tell you a great deal about her character. Good luck, friend.

Umm I dont think u should meet her bcuz u met her on the net and she might b a serial killer and she might b ugly just keep it on the downlow and stay friends on the comp. Also how old r u!

Dude, come on. You gotta come clean. If she is that shallow, you don't want her anyway. Explain that you have acne scars, and see if she still wants to meet you. If so, she is probably an allright chick. If not, you are better off anyway.

i think you should meet her because if she has to like you for your looks and not your personality then she aint worth you or your time. no1 should ever like someone because of only the looks. just meet her and see what's up you will never find out if you dont actually meet her.
