I like this girl from my school and I've known her for most of high school. We've talked a little bit and I really like her. I managed to get her to sign my yearbook and she said "love always" (although i think she put that in everyones) plus her cell phone number. The problem is that I know she had a boyfriend when we were in school. I'm pretty shy around girls because I always think im gonna get rejected. I want to call her this summer and before school starts so I can be quick. I was thinking of calling and just asking if she wanted to get some lunch sometime and get to know each other, but I just don't know. I mean, she still might be with the same guy. Can anybody tell me what I should do? It would be so much help for me.

Ask her out just as friends; if she says "yes" you can subtly try to find out if she still has a boyfriend.

You did not give your age, but you sound like a really good guy,polite and all. Here's the way I look at it, if she put her cell number in your book think about it do you think that she put it in everyone's book? I don't think so. Yes alot of times I sign my letters or cards love always, but that is just a figure of speech, but I think that she might like you and want to go out with you because she did put her number in your book. Give her a call dude and try it out. Ask her to the movies, or to lunch. I like to go out . Sometimes I am not able to go out but I do like to be ask out . Try a good movie, as a matter of fact The Pirates of the Carribean is coming out this weekend, go for it...Good Luck. If she doesn't want to go I am sure you will find someone that will appreciate you and like you . You never know till you try!!

ok 1st of all that is a great idea to call her before school starts because you guys can be closer on the first day of school, if she is still with that guy it is ok because hey atleast you got to talk to her dont let that lil thing keep you from askin her out, you never know mayb she is not with dat guy and u guys have a great chance together, why dont you just go for it. good luck and whatever happens remember EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON! always SMILE!

Hey, just call her and ask her, don't be afraid. If she has a boyfriend then i'm sure she gently tell you that she still has a boyfriend. and if she doesn't, your GOLDEN man. I really wouldn't worry, you can't do any harm by just asking to go get some lunch. Trust me, it's better to ask then sit there how your feeling and just keep feeling that way.

Well it doesn't hurt to try...I mean worst case scenario is she's still with the guy, but at least you'll feel better knowing you tried. If you don't do it you'll regret it and always wonder what if...I say go for it!

I think you have to write her a note of something, don't go in saying "O, do you want to be my gf." I think you should take it slow, analyize and then ask her out to like a pinic or something and if you have any friend bring them and tell her she can bring some friends, and one more thing "Be confident in yourself!"

Well she DID give you her number.....I think that was an invite to call her...so give it a try, you don't have anything to lose, if she says no she has a b/f at least you wont be surprised..But hey you wont know till you give it a try.....
