are jello shots good, whats a good recipe for jello shots, what kind of container to you put them in when they are jelling?

Well Jello shots are great for a party setting. It depends how potent you want them for the alcohol you should use. I have used Everclear and they get one pretty much wasted and sleeping in a dog bed. I have made them with other kinds of alcohol too. I found the best is like watermelon jello. You use one box of Jello and mix the alcohol in as the cold water. I really like to add a little watermelon pucker to add to the watermelon flavor when using harder stuff ike everclear. Make sure what ever combo you use (alcohols and water) that you keep to it and not put more than a cup of alcohol in. Sometimes the jello wont set and you got half jell half juice.
Sum it all up for the best a$# kicking shots.
1 box watermelon Jello
1 cup boiling hot water to add in first
3/4 cup everclear
1/4 cup watermelon pucker
(have the last two in the freezer so they can be cool as possible.

Use little Dixie cups or go to a liquor store and buy small cups with lids.
You can also find the cups at a fast food place sometimes they will even give them too you.

6 oz box jello
2 cups hot water
1 cup alcohol

you can put them in a cake pan and cut them into jigglers, you can use cookie cutters, you can use any cake or jello mold. You can even get Jello Shot Cups and JelloJectors (syringes).

you can use any kind of alcohol that sounds good to you. Here are some ideas:

green apple jello (if you can find it, it was discoed by Kraft.) and wild apple vodka

Gin and Lime Jello
Tequila and Lime or Lemon Jello
Light Rum and Berry (Strawberry especially)
Vodka works in any flavor (Blue Jello is cool, so is watermelon)
Use peach Jello and sub Hot OJ for water and use Vodka...YUM
Use Cranberry Jello, Hot Cranberry Juice. Get some dried cranberries and soak them in vodka over night. This turns the vodka a nice red and very flavorful. Then you use the vodka in the jello shot and you can put a few cranberries in the Jello Shot. Way Yum.

I personally like the little plastic jello shot cups better than the paper ones. Once you have used a toothpick a couple times you get the hang of it, it works like a charm.

Also you can use Jello or Cake molds to have some fun. I used ice cube trays to make a flag for 4th of July last year.

I made them for my husbands 40th birthday and everyone loved them. I can't remember what website I go the recipe's from but if you just type "jello shot recipes" in your search engine then you will find plenty of good sites. I used a few different flavors and (surprisingly) the best one turned out to be Amaretto with strawberry jello....yum!! As for the containers, I bought a big packet of plastic shot glasses at the liquor store. They weren't very much and I think there were around 50 in each packet.

jello shots are alright tho most dont get you drunk enough... start out with 3 small packages (I use strawberry or lime) of Jello heat up 2 and 1/2 cups of water with some juice or strawberry margarita mix or lime juice etc. I heat it in a bowl in the microwave for 4 mins stir that into the jello then stir in 3 cups of tequila and presto uve got margarita flavored jello shots taste better and with that much alchohol a little goes a longer way Good Luck

you can go to the liquior store and buy them, and they come two ways, ina jello mold with a foil seal or what they call a "Suck N Blow" it is in a tube shaped container and one person has to suck and the other blow hence the name. I would buy them and see which u like the best then go for it. Just don't use too much liquor making them, it will not be solid but removable but more like a jell.

all you need is some jello mix, a little liquor, and some fruit juice and you got jello shots. just put them in a shot glass to gell and take a tooth pick a drag it along the side to loosen it when it's done gelling.

those crinkly cupcake baking cups are good and also there are foil ones smaller for candy. they peel away nicely. use vodka and some water and jello, mix it less liquid than it asks for. it will jell sort of harder then, like school cafeteria jello. they're good.

make jello like normal, except instead of putting cold water at the end, you put your fav. liquor, I like fruit punch with rum or tequila with lime jello. Put them in small plastic cup.
