the average age that a females sex organs are fully developed is 15.2 years. that is an average so some will be fully developed at a younger age and some will take longer. If having sex their is a risk of pregnancy. if the organs are having to function without being fully developed you increase you're risk of cancer. I would not advise any female to engage in sexual relations until at least 16 years of age. waiting longer will be a healthier choice.

I don't think there is ever a "right age to lose your virginity". Instead, it is more important to make love to someone whom you deeply love and care for. It is also important to make sure he feels the same way for you AND that you both get checked, your lives depend upon it.
I am not so sure that means wait until you are married or not. I have never married but have lost my virginity. In many ways, I wish I hadn't offered it so soon (was 18 when it happened). My other advice would be to really think about this before doing it. Talk to the other person express your concerns, fears, are either of you ready should you become pregnant? Discuss what your choices would be, are you able to handle any of them? It sounds crazy but once you surrender yourself, it isn't something you can ever get back.

I am utterly amazed at the amount of ppl who have answered marriage!!! I really didn't think many ppl believed in that anymore. I believe sex is an important part of any mature relationship. It helps create a bond and if that isn't there until marriage do you not think you have jumped in the deep end without learning to swim first? Especially for those of you out there whose religion forbids divorce. If you ask me you are leaving a lot to chance. I disagree with sleeping with just anyone but if you are in a serious relationship where you love and respect one another there is absolutely no reason why sex can not be a part of that relationship. There is no age when you're suddenly ready... it's more about when the relationship reaches the right level.

Your question is "what age is the right age to lose your virginity.?" Keyword is RIGHT! Let look at it as you wrote it. You ask about "right age" well check your State Laws. What is legal age of consent? Most States its 18 so answer to what is "right age to lose your virginity" would be 18 or whatever age is legal age of consent where you live. That would answer your question with 100% accuracy based on the wording of the question

When you reach the age that you have these four things:
1) You know what an orgasm is, and how to achieve one
2) Your old enough to understand your contrseption options
3) Your old enough to deal with the side effect (yes side effects) of a sexually active lifestyle.
4) And your olde enough to feel confidant about putting yourself at risk and dealing with the consequences of: early motherhood/abortion, AIDS/HIV, unidentifiable STDS that condoms don't proct against, ridicule, new emotions towards your partner (good or bad), the pain of loosing your virginity (physical pain) and last but not least the fact that if your young enough to ask that question the guy most definatly doesn't know what he's doing yet and it won't be a memorable experiance any way.

There is no right age. Some do young and some wait until they are older or married even. I would say most girls around 14 and guys around 16 is about the norm. But that's not everyone. Just about the age most do.

Everyone will tell you there is not a good age to loose virginity, since every one has there one times... but, since you ask, I suppose you want an exact answer… what I think… younger than 14 is not a good idea, you are still half a child… Older than 20… mmm… is just waiting to much and giving it an importance it doesn’t have… anything in between, depending on your own history, its ok…

Any boy that pressures you into doing that before you are old enough to understand that it may bit you in the *** later is not worth it. Have fun but THINK....HIV, Hep C, Herpes...to name a few...none of which we have a vaccine for and you will DIE. This is not about getting pregnant anymore, It's life or death now...Times have changed and it's not the 50's when a girl just had to worry that her parents would find out she was having a baby. Now it's "How do I tell my mom that my blood test came back positive for HIV. You will understand that at 17 or 18 it will be more clear to you.
