A lot of people regard compassion and empathy as good feelings which have a positive influence on the world around us.

As a society, then, should we consider the research into, production, distribution and voluntary ingestion of drugs which increase our compassionate, empathetic and generally loving qualities?

No, mass warfare and extermination is the only direct route to peace. Produce love drugs and people will steal the love drugs, people will become greedy and fight each other for the love drugs. Only by eliminating the majority of our species, and keeping enough people to survive will peace ever have a chance.

I for one, do not support peace, or love drugs. I support the world we will live in in 200 years when religion has been forgotten about and people strive to work for the betterment of mankind and society, not their own personal goals to get into heaven.

Actuality, those love drugs were quite prevalent during the Vietnam War in the sixties. The quality of eventualities lowered the love children to a lowered level of life than was their original intent.

I served with the First Infantry Division in Vietnam during the love/ peace era in America. When I left for the war, I had many friends. When I returned to the states, I didn’t know the people who were robots to the love drugs. My awakening was when we landed in Oakland after thirteen to nineteen month tours in a war zone. The love children were waiting for us when we walked across the tarmac, throwing plastic bags that contained urine and feces. This is a sad fate for soldiers looking for love from family and friends, after seeing death and destruction.

Many of those drug induced love children went to Canada to enable their love ethics to continue. The fact is, they were cowards who abandoned fellow Americans and the American fervor But lo, those same love children were given a pardon by President Carter; many were forced to serve in government jobs that paid almost twice as much as the brave soldiers were earning in civilian jobs. It seems the veterans of the Vietnam War were being shunned from the jobs and the love children became more successful.

The next time you see a Vietnam Veteran lying in the streets and homeless; just remember this was the price paid by society, because of love drugs and heartless politicians. By the way, Bush was also one of the love children. Now he sends the brave soldiers into harms way, because his mind is tainted from using love drugs. He can’t even say a complete sentence without tripping over his own tongue, a side effect of love drugs.

wouldn't work. Voluntary? do you think "bad" people would volunteer for this nonesence. And "good" people, they'd think it demeaning to go for such a thing. Of course both of these are silly answer's. truth is, there's good and bad in us all. God knows what tips the balance, but I fear it will always be there to be tipped. A drug induced state of harmony, is "the" very thing which all politicians fear, hence drugs are illegal

What about one that combats indifference ?
The problem is not based on the bad people or how good the compassionate people is or can be, the problem is what the other good people do not give a damn.

Instead why don't we focus our energy into making drugs that make people more obedient, submissive, and docile. Then we can push the drugs on tv and pay doctors to prescribe them to people.

Hey... wait a minute....
