Sure I would and have. Why not do something that would make a big difference to some that needs the help? My blood type is very rare and hard to find. Red Cross always contacts me to donate – and I do not mind taking a little time out of my life to go to their appointments. You know – I don’t want to sound like some sort of preacher or whatnot, but the fact remains that if more people in this world were willing to do just the smallest amount of action towards the help that is needed – the difference would be huge. The way I see it is – Why not? I wish I knew the solution for the problems that exist in our world – I wish I could change it for the better, but I cannot. What I can do is try my best to do my part in helping. Donating my blood can make a world of difference for the person or child that really needs it. All it takes is a little time out of the day. My pleasure.

I would like to donate blood, and am healthy and old enough to do so. However, I don't meet the minimum weight requirement yet, so I can't. If I donated anyway, it would probably result in me, at the very least, feeling light headed, or at the worst, passing out and being unable to function normally for a couple of days. At least they let me be an organ donor. :)

Oh yeah, I am a regular donor. I do it every 56 days. Because I have a rare blood type, B+, American Red Cross would call me whenever I am getting to be eligible to donate again. The only way to stop them from calling is to donate.

I would give and I have given before. If I felt that it would help save a life I have no problem giving blood. The life you might be your own is so true.

Yes I would. and as a matter of fact I dont mind if they take my useful organs when Im dead. I mean, we all gonna rot anyways. If it can save someone's life then why not? When you are dead you are dead and not better than a dead fish or chicken. If you gave a hyena the body of a human and the body of a chicken, he couldnt care less. He would not say, no Im not eating that flesh because its the flesh of a human. See my point?
