Looks is part of attraction. It's not the whole equation. But it's part of it. And then the initial attraction is only part of a long term relationship. And some would argue it's a small part. But the initial attraction has to be there to get one in the front door so to speak. A guy(or girl) won't have much luck walking around eating 12 cheeseburgers a day, not showering with a $hitty attitude and expect that people are supposed to see past that into the inner beauty. Jaw all you want about what attraction is supposed to be. But that doesn't change what it is. There's a year or two of evolution there to make sure the species gets propagated.

Usually a guy that can treat me like a lady and not a tramp . Open up doors and pull at the chair polite ,not cheap but not a trying to pose as a rich guy . It all depends on the type of girl you date . Most importantly your self at all times . By being your self you can easily tell how your date is heading .

When I was in the dating world, I liked a guy who was sure of himself.... Not too sure (like conceited or anything) but a guy who was able to make a decision on where to go to eat, etc. Guys have to dress for the occasion and always treat your lady with respect. Also, don't try to impress her by clowning around with your buddies. Make her feel like your putting her in the centre of your world. Someone genuine. I am very open-minded and want to know what I'm getting into from the get go. There is nothing worse than that fake date personality where you try to seem like the perfect guy. None of us are perfect, so let the little flaws out so you seem more human. And funny, be funny. We love that.

And I know it may be out dated, but on a "date"(guys asks girl), the guy should hold the door and pay.

Just be yourself, relax and don't try to fill every second with jibber jabber. Silence is ok. Ask her questions about her work and growing up. Ask her to tell you a story about her childhood. Have fun.

when you go on dates, don't forget to brush and rinse your mouth. carry mints, girls don't like bad breath, atleast I don't, it's the biggest turn off for me. don't talk about yourself too much, instead be more insterested in her, it makes girls feel special. umm, lets see, don't go for pretty alone, if she is pretty? great. but see if she has a brain to go with her looks, trust me, you'll suffer later on if you decide to get in a relationship. there are 2 different kinds of girls, those who get it, and those who don't get it at all. you'll know what I mean later on. always, treat her like a lady, like, never honk while you're waiting outside for her, even if you're dating or married. umm, be thoughtful and creative. I mean, when you go on dates, always have a plan of what you're going to do instead of asking her while on the date what she likes to do. to me, it shows alot about yourself when you're organized person. umm, when you're on a date, talk, alot. you want to find out as much as you can about her. what her interests are and goals and so forth. if she has the same goals as you, great. if not accept her the way she is and go home and decide if it somebody that you want to continue seeing. sex and making out will come later when you found the right one, unless you're just looking to score. last but not least, be yourself. the one thats meant for you and accept you the way you are, will step forward. the ones that are not interested in you, will step backwards. good luck

well i look for in a guy who is honest, smart, kind, athletic, and a guy that has good manners and someone who will be there w/ u through thick and thin someone who will care for what your feeling and a guy that is able to dedicate time to spend with his soul mate. well thats what i think... sorry for the long answer
