Look on the Title for the Vehicle on the Front!!! Also, be sure to see what on Back in the Blanks!!!!!
If, there is a Lien the person selling the vehicle not OWN it, the lien Holder does and that who you need to talk to!!!!!
IF, you have some bad Vibes, Check the VIN Number on the Title with the VIN Number on the Dash----Driver side look from outside and it at bottom of Windshield.

Ask to see the title, if it says lien on it under the owners name then their is. Check to see, the banks name should be on there too. If the seller won't show you the title just keep on walking it's not worth the hassle of buying it. I purchased a car and needed a signature from the bank to say that the lien was payed of and well it took me 6 months just to get the guy to sign the papers and then I was finnally able to get the car in my name and get plates on it. It was such a hassle and the cops pulled me over for it. It's illegal to drive a car without plates for more than 30 days. If the seller isn't honest with you and tells you that their is no lien then check the title before you give him any money. The seller of the car doesn't have to give you the money back if their is a problam with the car.
Good luck
