I'm not a big fan of "dog" names for dogs. It always seems that dogs have too much personality to be given names like "peppy" or "puffball", so if I had a dog who needed a Finnish name, I'd look at people names used in Finland.
I'd recommend it, anyway, and these sites for help in finding a good Finnish name for your poochie. (See what I mean?)

When I hear the word Finnish, there is only 1 thing I think of: VILLE VALO ! He is the singer for the band HIM. So I would use that name. You could try looking up Finnish bands and look at the band members names. ;)

I don't know what a Finnish dog name is but my dogs name was Zeus... He was a huge Black Lab, .... had a lot of respect. Everyone was intimidated by his largeness......lol
