I've dated outside my race and have no problems with it. I find it's those around me who have issues with it.

I've dated outside my race, and it doesn't bother me if other people do. I did find out that racism can come from any type of people. Before that I really thought it was mostly whites with this problem.

I feel great about it! I really don't mind interracial dating. I think its beautiful when people can express their feelings and not bow to the status que placed on us by society. People forget the culture of america and so it seems, there isn't what they would describe a "problem" with this situation, They choose not to address it, well the "problem" is people being color blind, to the specifics of the word, BLIND TO THE COLORS AROUND YOU. They are unwilling to accept them and hence they are not there or you are blind to them. I don't believe in color blindness, its ignorance, it needs to change, be aware of the wonderous variety around you and accept it. I Think its extremly interesting to learn about other people's ways of life. I think its really sad that people of any race can simply 'dis' others becuase they are of any color.

so why do you even care?
what you lack personal strength to be your own person?
when you are strong
people respect you more
when you are weak
people will pressure you down to there weakness
it's the classic mob mentality
you have to relaize there is so called strength in the mob mentality
and they do not losing member who think outside there world or act different
because once that starts
those who have power ( there is always a leader in a mob )
the mob unravels and becomes human independamt people
so your question really is
who are you
your own person
or a follower who bends to the whims of the mob?

Those who have issue with it are stuck in a little circle that they are afriad to get out off. They are also afriad of what people will think bout them if they do date a different race.

If people cant look inside of themselfs and see that .. inside were all the same that race dosen't matter that were all people .. then thats an issue they need to work on within them.

many people do tend to stare and remark about it.. but all u can do is brush it off. i'm in a interracial relationship and i couldn't be happier... i love him to death and yes, at first we had alot of people staring and making rude remarks bout us but if you really love the guy you should juss deal with it and talk to the people around about the situation.

I've dated black men and have not had too many negative reactions from those who know me, and know that I do not judge people based on appearances. I have gotten looks from total strangers, but I don't care what they think.
