i ask this because i had hear many saying they do not like illegals and they do not care weather or not they even have money to come back . so isn't this contradictory ???, someone who doesn't have money will comeback for the same not matter how many times u send him home .... what about those who came because of the violence produced by the weapons which Americans sell to drug cartels illegaly , ppl is not allowed to have weapons in mex but delinquents get them for USA and out power the mexican police ( many had die :'(( :'(( ...i feel really sad because of this )

so do u understand the reasons ???
do u wanna help ???
whould u like to be treated humanly if u were in great need ???
would u try to scape the violence or keep waiting to have someone from your family kidnaped ( many mexicans families are being toture and recieve body parts of a relative every year from kidnappers as a proff of the captive victim while they get scream at ) ???

i never heard that b4 but i have heard about the kidnappings its very sad and very true, but ya knnow many come here with nothing and where they come from is nothing they come looking for something better and die just to try, its very sad and my heart aches for them they work @ the crappiest jobs just for minium wage just to have something. but i really don;t agree with them not paying taxes just wish there was an easy way for all of this and ppl (americans) just didnt get so out of control. some americans make me sick the way they act...

DAR... thats so not true this is AMERICA we have enough and will have enough money if our government would stop scamming it with all the stupid wars and bs they have. we just need some real ppl with some heart that KNOW how and what to do with the money... Your one of the selfish ppl that can't even put your own self in their shoes ....have a heart the future of this great country will be fine we are AMERICA stop being so selfish I agree its not our fault about the poorness in their country and yes there government can possibly do something but do we live there? do we know what exactly goes on? no... give the mexicans some slack they want a better life and america is a best way to start. I don't think you scrub toliets for minium wage now do you?

Gameover, I don't know how old you are, but you show great depth and compassion for those less fortunate than yourself and for that I highly commend you.

I totally agree with you. Most people here speak with absolutely no clue. I am Hispanic and I live on the border and I see what you speak of on a daily basis. I visit Mexico City and other parts of Mexico and I know what those people have to endure. Its a nightmare that I wouldn't wish on my worse enemy. I know of the kidnappings that go on over there and the terror people live with day and night. Its a terrible way to live, it constant fear and danger, not to mention all the earthquakes that go on in Mexico.

My husband is Spanish but he grew up in Mexico City. I am not joking when I say he is so traumatized by living there, he has Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from living in that city. Some of his close friends have died because of being kidnapped. He has been mugged at gun point SEVERAL times.

IF you visit there, you can't wear jewelry on the streets or nice close or you will be assaulted. I just don't think most Americans really don't understand how desperate it is over there, its truly like living in a war zone. And I agree with you about helping those people, we are neighbors and we dont act like it...But thanks for your insight and open mind to the plight of the Mexican people, God bless you my friend.

no its not hard to understand... people are mean to immigrants because they live here and dont experience some of the strife that immigrants face at home. Its not all about money, sometimes its about your own life. If i had a choice to escape my life being cut short i would take it and i know many out there in america would too. Its not that serious with immigrants, this country has a history with immigrants coming here, in fact american life was built on it... americans must be more hospitable and stop the selfishness, help each other.. help your brother!

No, it isn't hard to understand at all. I love my country and all that it offers. It would go better for them if they apply for a visa, green card or citizenship, then they would be here legally and could make this their permanent home. That's what my grandparents did and I am so happy they did. It isn't a perfect country and there isn't any guarantees that bad things won't happen here but we do have laws and ways of enforcing those laws. It's a great place to live.

The problem is there are too many poor in Mexico and it is not our fault. It is their government's fault. We can't absorb them all into our schools and health services and still have decent schools and health services.

It is not that we are intolerant. If we were intolerant we would not have given amnesty to 2.3 million illegal immigrants in 1986. However, now it is 12 to 20 million, because we have been far too helpful and tolerant already.

What about a better life for our own children? What about our own health care and services for when we all retire?

You care about those in Mexico, but you don't care about us.

That is a problem that Mexico has to solve. The US government cannot change the way Mexico is. It has to be done by Mexicans.

Maybe the US government could do more diplomatically to make Mexicos Government act. It is worth a try but....our congress is so damn lazy !!!!!!

Well, they call america 'the land of opportunity', but if there's something real bad where you came from, you still need to get in touch with the city etc. where you'll be living to let them know because they can help. Anyone can make up any kind of story, it's still best to be honest...

Do we really need to listen to the media and panic? there are good and bad in all races and all colours. Lets just be friends and make this world a happy place. Why fight? Who benefits?

Makes NO difference!!! ILLEGALS need to try and change their OWN country, and STOP screwing ours up!!!!! There are a LOT of poor people everywhere,NOT just in mexico!!! There are a LOT of people in the world, who are tortured, abused, and mistreated, but that does NOT make it OUR problem!!!! Yes,i feel sorry for them.but we can NOT take care of the WHOLE WORLD!!!!

Everything you have stated is so true. People just don't understand the human condition, only if it personally happens to them, then they want to be treated "humanly". But if it happens somewhere else and not close to them, then its o.k.
