Okay I mostly agree with Sheepesh, You're 12 for crying out loud!
But hey who am I, to tell you what's right for you...
You know what girls like?
All sorts of things! Every girl out there appreciates something different in the male species...
some like them Loud and Proud
some like them quiet and sweet
some like them funny and sensitive
some like them cool and styling
some like them smart and intriguing
The key is to become more sure of who you are inside, and when you are feeling your best about what makes you- You! Then the girls will be coming to you, versus you having to chase after them.
Next smart step would be taking care of yourself health wise. A clean face, a bright smile, a hairstyle that suits your personality (not what everyone else is doing), clothes that fit you (not hang off like you could fit 3 other people in there), a nice clean scent (Axe and it's type work just fine)... and trust me, the ladies will like! Oh almost forgot, no chapped lips please! Practice that pucker for ...oh I don't know... when you're fifteen....
READ!!!!! Okay, you don't have to make a big show of it, but having something smart to say in a conversation will keep girls interested. NOT A KNOW-IT-ALL, just a guy who knows what's going on in the world and can discuss it. So pick up the paper at home, check out the news on the web, read a novel (heck any, so long as it's thicker than a magazine) - speaking of magazines find a few at the library and flip through them.
Develope your own style, be true to yourself, and plenty of girls will like you just fine.
