The way I am reading your question, you are saying that one year ago you gave your engagement ring back to your exboyfriend that you can not forget. If you are having mixed emotions now then that means you still love him. If he isn't in a relationship, ask him to meet you somewhere. You two must have been very serious for you to recieve an engagement. And don't waste 5 more points just to rewrite your question so others can make sense of it.

First, rewrite your question. If you returned the ring, it would seem like you are no longer interested in being with this guy. You should get a really good cry and move on.

don't know but when you figure it out let me know. I totally miss my ex too. Of course mine is an ex GIRLFRIEND but besides that I know what you mean. We broke up, I miss her, we had an awesome 4th of July two years ago and I stll remember it like it was yesterday. I hope the saying is true, time heals all wounds.

If it ended on speaking terms try talking to him. If it ended badly I would try talking to a professional to help you get past this point in you life
