NO...cilantro tastes like soap to me...I used to think that Mexicans were clean freaks, that didn't rinse the dishes very well, because every bit I tool of Mexican food tasted like someone had put a drop of dish soap on the fork.
I finally figured out it was the cilantro, with the help of a friend and now, I don't have that problem. But I hate it when it's not listed as an ingredient in pre-made foods...I call and complain every time.

Cilantro is great tasting. I wouldn't grab a handfull and start chomping on it though. Use some while making salsa, top off baked meats to kick up the flavor a few notches. It is also known as italian parsley in some regions.

I love the tast of cilantro! I find that it enhances so many foods; one of my favorites is to add it to potatoes! Ohhh! so good. Try it and see. Boil the potatoes, add a little buttermilk, mash. Add cilantro to taste and enjoy!

I love Mexican food, but I despise the taste of cilantro, dull and quite pungent.

I didn't used to like it. In the late 90s it seemed like it was on or in just about everything and people totally overdid it. In time I have come to love the flavour and use it lots of stuff I make but some restaurants still don't get the whole 'Less is more' concept.

I've actually never had it... but I worked in a grocery store for 3 years as a cashier, and when people would buy it it smelled sooo good.
