Many people today believe that God is not actively interested in the earth or that he is not doing anything about the problems troubling mankind. But the truth is that God does care very much. True, he may not have done what men expected him to do. But this does not mean he has done nothing. Actually, he has been doing things for mankind from the beginning of human history right down to the present day.
One reason some people conclude that God is not doing anything is their own short life span. This makes them impatient to get things done in the brief time their life allows. So a desire to see changes during their own lifetime dominates their thinking. Their tendency, then, is to judge God on the basis of such human experience, with all its limitations.
On the other hand, Jehovah lives forever. (Psalm 90:2, 4; Isaiah 44:6) From his viewpoint he can see precisely where in the stream of time his acts will accomplish the most good for everyone concerned as well as most effectively develop his purpose. (Isaiah 40:22; 2 Peter 3:8, 9) That is exactly what God has been doing. Be assured that at his appointed time, God will put an end to the all the wickedness on the earth.

Is God living in a pre-9/11 world? I Don't Think SO! Is He against us? I think everyone knows the answer to that.
It seems that a principal reason for dragging God into the picture is to protect the privacy of calls and emails; and to keep the government from tracking the $20.00 most Americans have left after they pay bills. This is hardly a job for God. As I recall the privacy bit should be a concern for the Supreme Court?
Now let's get serious. People have a choice. They can be ruled by God, they can be ruled by other people, or they can rule themselves. People who elect divine rule are in the loop for divine intelligence. If you are under the rule of others ( a king for example) your level of intelligence is likewise reduced, usually to pronouncements by selected prophets. If you elect self rule then you are reduced to self intelligence in such venues as the KGB, or CIA, Secret Service, etc., etc. and blah, blah.
Then, what makes you think that the failure of the first attempt on the WTC, wasn't a divine message? Can or has anybody considered; that the 9-11 event is in itself phophetic; a dress rehersal of economic and political events to come? Terrorists need to be brought to justice; but in the scheme of things they are still just minor players.
The question is not - Is God against us? The question is are we against God. God has his own agenda. To fight against it, even in error, is fatal for men and nations..

The only calls that are monitored are international calls to and from known terrorists.
The only bank transactions being monitored are those to and from known terrorists overseas.
Your emails are not being monitored. That would be a boring job, even for a government employee.

God is the master mind of the terrorists attack. I think he die during the bombing of Afganistan and the government is afraid to tell the truth. Government cannot take the chance of a riot that will result if all Christian know the truth.

My answer to that is why should He tell us...we are trying to take Him out of everything else like our schools, out of the Pledge of Allegience, off our money...why should He tell us...we claim not to need Him in America then all of the sudden something bad is going to happen and He is suppose to tell us, when we don't call him any other time..I think He is doing what we are asking and He is getting out of the way....We think we can handle things without Him....guess not!!!

The prophet Isaiah wrote,"And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall." (Isaiah 30:25) If, Nostradamus, wrote this, people would be more apt to believe this!

That isn't how God works. We have free will - if God started acting the way you have described, we'd be little less than actors on a stage (at best) or puppets (at worst).

Hahahaha, that's a good one. I know you're gonna get answers from people citing "God gave everyone free will." What a crock. Better off not believing.

God doesn't concern himself greatly with the affairs of mankind. On weekends, he eats cavier and plays Pong.

Study theology. We are living the 'great parenthesis' (church age), God will intervene when Israel repents. But its going to get much worse before the Jews admit they have rejected God (Jesus).
