It is not that I haven't heard of other religions, but not heard of other creation theorys. You don't have to be a Christian to vote #1,

Conrad, can I ask you a question?
Does what we would like to believe have anything to do with what we do believe? There have been similar questions and it implies that belief is truly just a fantasy and that we should choose Christianity because it sounds good - is this really what drives your belief in God? Isn't that just wish-fulfillment?
#3 has no romanticism to it. #1 has romanticism but suggests stasis. #2 has the potential for growth and progress, and I think those are very good things. I don't like the word 'somehow', but if this is strictly a game of fantasy, I'll still choose #2 only because of its potential for progress and development.
I like the idea of God. Really, I do. It's an interesting concept. If you had said 'created by God and trying to improve himself', that might have gotten my vote (being as it's a fantasy question and all).
Most of all I'd like to be known as a human who concentrates on the present and future as much as possible without looking back to a distant past.

I don't think the proper question is "what would you like to be known as..." Instead, I'm guessing you mean, "what would you like to believe?"
In which case, I would love to believe number 1. That's a very comforting thought. But it's also ridiculous. There's a difference between wanting to believe in something, and believing in something.
I WANT to believe I'm Superman. But I'm not crazy.
If you do some research, you'll see why it's impossible for someone like myself to believe in your god. You simply haven't done enough reading. (And this is evident by your statement about evolving from apes, among other things. You obviously don't even have a layman's understanding of evolution.)
Sorry, but that's the facts, Jack.

Have you heard of assisted evolution??? You should have. That is what I believe I am. Sort of like a mix between 1 and 2. God made it possible for life to come into existence, but he didn't make the animals and humans exactly. He let nature take a course of its own, so that many millions of animals could come into existence
