Dog's lifespans depend on their size. Smaller dogs can live anywhere from 12 to 19 years; medium-sized dogs can live anywhere from nine to 15 years; and large dogs can live anywhere from seven to 12 years. Of course there are always exceptions and record-breakers, but generally this is about it.

depending on the breed the dog can live up to a different age...on average...i think that the age of the dog can be anywhere from 10-20 when it dies. it also depends a lot upon the dogs health...if the dog gets sick with something then it will obviously die sooner. if you are searching a specific breed and how long they live, try searching on google or yahoo.

About 10 to 17 years depending on the breed. Boxers don't live very long. Those yippy little terriers live forever.
An australian cattle dog lived for 29 years --that's the record for dogs.

12 - 15 yrs, although it depends on the breed of dog & it's health. Small breeds that are healthy seem to live longer.

Great Danes are very short lived, Cocker Spaniels live longer.

it all depends on the breed. usually mixed breeds live longer than a purebred. dont know why.
