Hi:
The best way to talk about sex in front of your Mom (or anybody for that matter) is to be alone with them.
This is a very private subject that should not be in the open. Ask her into your room and fire away.

Maybe open with a bit of a joke or just blatantly drop it out in the open. Depending on what kind of person your mom is one of the two extremes is good. No one likes to be kept out on important things in the ones they Love's life.

If you are talking to her, just be open and don't assume she understands some modern slang on sexual terms. If you are talking in front of her to others, as with any subject, that is rude so wait and discuss it elsewhere. Most parents want to help and have open discussions with you. She may worry about how to talk about it with you.

Ha ve a girl friend sit down with you and your mom. Hug the girlfriend and hold her hand....Tell your mom......."Mom there is something I think we need to talk about" she will think you are going to tell her that you are gGay. Then ask her whatever it is that you want to know. She will be so happy that you aren't Gay that she will talk about anything.

Just say it fast and get it over with. Knowing moms, she'll probably talk to you about it soon anyway.. But don't be shy, she won't judge you, she knows every teen needs to know this stuff.. Good luck!! (you won't need it)

you need a mom like I had before she died I could ask or tell her anything w/o being judged just be honest and tell her you dont want to find out on the street.
