He might think that he does. He might also be saying it to get something from you. Girls want to hear those three words and when you're young, it gets used with reckless abandon. Honestly, from the time you're 12 until you're 20 the raging hormones will drive you insane and your emotions go from one extreme to the other. I don't know if we're capable of really falling in love with someone at such a young age, youth is fickle.

I'm sorry honey, but a 12 year old doesn't know the first thing about love. The correct words are "I have a crush on you." Although I'm not saying he's lying, just naive.

No, he is only in lust with you. Neither you nor he have the experience or maturity to know true and long lasting love. When you can cry when he cries, and he doesn't know it. When you can laugh when he is happy, and he doesn't know it. When you can feel his joy, and experience his pain. When you can know when he comes into a room, although your back is to the door. Then you can be in love. Give it time to mature and to grow. It's really not too long a time to wait

Being 12 means you don't know what real love is yet. Don't get started...be a kid first...then be a teen...enjoy life being hanging a boyfriend around your neck.

well, i'm 11 going on 12, and i've been with my boyfriend for almost 2 yrs now, so, it could be true and it could not be true, lol, well anyways, i think u shouild go 4 it and if it's not true.........who cares
