Bernard Kerik has pleaded guilty to accepting bribes from contractors and failing to report kickback income. As you will remember, in 2004, Bernard Kerik was George Bush's first choice to be the Homeland Security Director.
Homeland Security director is a cabinet-level position in charge of some of the most sensitive and important work in the US government. Do you think that Bush used good judgement when tapped this criminal for such an important job?

Is it bad judgement to at least make sure the guy is clean before you nominate him?
And Kerik withdrew his nomination, he was not asked to step aside, unless Bush is a liar.

update #1
As soon as the administration found out about his problems they canceled his nomination. Something Bill Clinton would not have done.

Hello, fellow Americans and Bush lover's, the answer is because Kerik and Bush are buddies, and buddies stick together, Bush could care less if his pals are criminals or not, and he could care even less than less what the American people think! Mr. Bush has paid off the top 1% of America, they are fat and happy with money stolen from your current tax returns & your Social Security account.I Dare you to contact S.S. and inquire an update regarding your retirement , or your monthly income should you become incompacitated, now or in the future! It's time folks, try and clear your minds for a second and see if you can focus on the problem that America is plagued with, if you don't speak up, right now, this 4th of July, well then it's going to be too late. Please try and concentrate I know it's hard, it's hard for everyone( to be discussed at a later date) but if you love your country you must impeach George Bush & Dick Cheney from their stolen office. Do it today, if you care about uour children, your future and your country, you must!

Lets face it, what Government Official is "clean", when it comes to this or that??
You dont get to be "high ranking" unless you have stepped on a few toes, accepted a lot of kick backs, turned your head a few times, and a whole lot more dirty dealings, to get where you are now...
Its a sad but true statement of facts and affairs in any Country.
But, I especially love it when Ted Kennedy is on the panel that oversees "ethics" in Government, when he is one death to his credit, a drunk and "he" has the audacity to preside over anyone and judge "thier morals"??? ROTFLOL!!!
I wish you well..

At this point I have a lot of questions like that for our president..What is he thinking letting a criminal head any department?? He has made several bad judgments but this is really bad. When is he going to stop?? Soon he is going to help a criminal run for president....

It is truly hard to answer your questions when if you think about it. The difference between a hero and a war criminal is weather or not they won the war. If the crook is on your side. You might have something but I wouldn't trust them any farther than I could spit.

Bush used the best judgment he knows. After all, Bush is a convicted felon himself.
