The pharisee's god was their religion. as long as there is religion there will always be pharisee's.
I wouldn't be concerned with them though if you are following Jesus Christ and the Word of God you will not be decieved by them. As children of God we have the Holy Spirit within us and He said that the Spirit would lead us into all truth.
If you don't know Jesus Christ today I encourage you to look to the one that gave His all for you.

Who is persecuting you? Disagreement is not persecution. When someone puts you in a fire and burns you alive, that’s persecution. And yes there are still Pharisees, they’re called evangelicals.

Exactly!....This is why there is so much "HATE" against believers who love & serve GOD!...(Matt. 10: 22).....they love unrighteousness more than they love righteousness!....they love evil more than they love good!

as long as there are human beings, some of them will be jerks. no matter what religion they are.
