God mention in the Quran that He can forgive anyone for whoever He wishes EXCEPT taking partenrs beside Him in worship.
all you need for forgiviness is honest true heart to not return back to it again, and pray for forgiviness, God always repeat in the Quran call me and ask me for forgiviness i am all merciful all forgiver.
there are times and places in which your call or prayers will be accepted, and there are some of it:
-during Al-sojood (when ur face on the ground while praying to God). Muhammad mentioned that this is the position of which you are the most closest to God, so call God while you bow down like that.
-when it rains hard
-when you are treated unfairly and unjustly
-while you are fasting between the sun raise till sun down
-certain words u say, God has special names (different than Allah) if u call Him with it, it will erase alot of ur sins
-when you give charity in secret, it turn off ur sin just like how water turn off the fire.
-and much more different ways.
the punishment of God is so great (Hell) therefor God forgiviness is so great as well, there are many ways you can see forgiviness. God is the all merciful all forgivener.

2:263. Kind words and the covering of faults are better than charity followed by injury. Allah is free of all wants, and He is Most-Forbearing.
Human Forgiveness in Islam:
Just as it is important to believe in the mercy and forgiveness of Allah, it is also necessary to base all human relations on forgiveness. How should we expect Allah’s forgiveness while we do not forgive those who do wrong to us?! Forgiving each other, even forgiving one’s enemies is one of the most important Islamic teaching. In the Qur’an Allah has described the Believers as:
“Those who avoid major sins and acts of indecencies and when they are angry they forgive.” Qur'an ( 42:37)
Later in the same Surrah Allah says:
“The reward of the evil is the evil thereof, but whosoever forgives and makes amends, his reward is upon Allah.”Qur'an ( 42:40)
