He is the sweetest guy, and we are both trying so hard to work things out. My last relationship didnt work out and that was long distance, but my new guy is soo different. I am just so hesitant , dont want to get hurt again.

Long distance relationships are hard (personal experience). The key to success is making sure you BOTH are willing to work at it and keep it alive. Trust, honesty and self control must be the base.

To be quite honest, long-distance relationships are very hard to maintain. First off I think it prudent that you meet him first, but then I only need to look at a very good friend of mine, who went out with a guy for seven years before she met him for the very first time. Now, she lives in the Netherlands, to where she moved two months ago and they are engaged. She lives with him at his house, they apparently share the same bedroom, etc. Eventually they shall get married.

In my own life, I am currently interested in this girl, too, for a long-distance relationship. The thing I have to keep in mind is that if both people want it bad enough (both parties involved need this to be the most important priority in life) then such relationship can work out.

relationships are already challenging as it is, the distance factor makes it more challenging. you don't get to see each other as often as you would like, its only natural to want to be close to someone that you are in a relationship with..trust is a major concern in LD relationships. extra drama may be involved because of a lack of trust. in my opinion they are just too much work for what they are worth...meet someone local and go from there...

If it is working out then great, but you need to keep in mind how long this is going to last. Connection up close is so much better that from far.

I'd say slim to none. Long distance relationships usually end badly (personal experience.)

As long as you guys could communicate, then nothing should go wrong.
