According to the US Declaration of Independence we are "endowed with certain inalienable rights, among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness." (notice it says the pursuit of happiness - happiness isn't guaranteed)
Actually, I think we are guaranteed to die, to suffer and to have the forgiveness of God (if you were to ask for it)

Food and clothing with these be content as for the third it would be death, for it appointed unto man once to die then the judgment
From what I find in scripture these three pretty much sum it up. the balance of what we receive would be considered blessings and not guarantees even though some sound like a guarantee they are conditional.

If you are reading this then you will surely die..not a threat, just a simple fact.
Not everyone pays taxes..esp. if they don't work..or if they are homeless.
You are to get hungry eventually and with that comes hunger pains..:)
