Remember that lesson. You obviously can read - you KNEW it was listed as not allowed - you deliberately disobeyed the law.
When you operte a skateboard - or motorcycle - or later a car or truck - illegally you run the risk of losing it at least temporarily.

The officer might want to chop up your skateboard but he legally can not do that. He can take it and hold it until they decide to release it to your parents probley. Call down to the station and tell them your situation and ask them what you need to do to get your skateboard back.... Good Luck....

Before you call down to the station. Make sure you can prove it because no offense but your a kid and if answered your complain like that about one of my officers I would say sorry there is nothing you can do. If you told me i have proof I might listen.

He can arrest you and charge you with a crime

he can take the board and hold it for trial.

He can also merley just take the board and hold it for your parents to pick up.

He should not merely just take it and keep it, but often to teach kids lessons they do. ( no paper work and it stops you from breaking the law)

Because you are a kid, he can do anything he wants to little buddy. I am sorry for your loss. He may not be allowed, but he did it.
