It probably depends on which Yahalooney is working that night, or maybe someone didn't like your question and they conspired with their good god-fearing friends to simultaneously report (snitch) on you.
Check out my innocent ANSWER that was removed from a posted question. It's pasted below:

Question: are there other life forms????????

Details of Violation: Yes... conservative Christians

Reason of Violation: Other:

Now I ask you, was that so bad? I responded to Yahoo and asked what the... "Violation: Other:" was, and they sent back a form letter basically saying they've got the right to censure me (in the name of Jesus?).
Galileo wouldn't get far on this site.

It's not what you believe, it's the way you express it. You see, you have made this confrontational comment about "we're coming to your children's schools," like an invading army.

ID, I take it, refers to Intelligent Design. You know, you're at least halfway to a real scientific explanation with that concept, if you work on it. Perhaps a real, serious dialog could come up with a few principles we can accept. For example, I believe in evolution, but I understand that evolution is moved by some psychic factors, including the love parents have for their children and the love involved in mate selection. So while I believe that mankind, along with all other living creatures, changes and evolves over time, I acknowledge the significance of these non-material factors in who has what offspring, and how many of them survive to have children in their turn. Can you go that far?

What'dja say?

You probably shouldn't be so sure that Intelligent Design is going to be taught in schools, because it still recognizes the presence of a higher being, which could still be considered a religion, and public schools aren't allowed to recognize any religion or non-religion. If you mean private school-teach away. I don't mind discussions on how the universe was started, or things like that-just as long as they're discussions, not being taught as actual, solid fact. I think until we have solid proof of the existence or non-existence of a higher being- I mean, like a videotape or something not eye-witness testimony- then they will still teach Evolution in public schools.
But who knows with the Bush administration?

There is absolutely no free speech on Yahoo Answers. Some cry-baby, do-gooder or Christian nut-case is always lurking, ready to click on "Report Abuse" for the slightest offense, including something as benign as a simple difference of opinion. But fear not. If you contest the report, all will be forgiven by Y.A.

There is no offensive content on Yahoo. Yahoo is a service firm who must keep the majority of clients happy. Pretty simple.

I personally find it offensive how you use Christianity as a weapon and act like your sect is a gang. You go against God in almost everyway with how you preach your beliefs. Scarying away all those that need saving with your ranting? I'm sure God will send you a message about that.

I feel the need to explain something to people when they play this card.

You have not been reported for being "controversial," (as much as you might like it to be that way.) You are not being "persecuted."

I have been discussing my pro-atheist agenda for months and months now and have not been reported for it.

Why? Because I am respectful of the beliefs of others, even when I openly deny them.

Chances are you're getting reported for the tone of your posts, not the content.

You certainly are free to say things that are controversial as long as they are not profane. You have the right to disagree with anyone and state your opinion, the same as anyone who disagrees with you. But some people on this site , I have noticed, insist on bringing profanity into it, forgetting (or not caring) that there are young people reading this that do NOT need to read such filth. Also, anything threatening or promoting violence is out of place. As long as you aren't guilty of those, feel free to express your opinions.

There is plenty of free speech on Yahoo answers. Sure you'll get some idiots that report you when you don't deserve it, but as long as your not ignorant you should have no worries.

I don't want to be "judgmental" here but a quick look at your profile seems to indicate someone who is making a mockery of Y/A and who is trying to slip profane content into the discussion.

It reminds me of a "mole" who seeks to infiltrate in order to discredit and destroy the enemy. You certainly don't show the evidence of a changed life through Christ in what you've chosen to write about your so called "beliefs".

I haven't seen your questions or answers, so I'm not in a good position to judge. Were you being insulting or overly vulgar? Remeber that while it's okay to be controversial, try not to be an *** about it.
