In about three months I'm going to try to get a place with a yard (still renting though, ugh) and i want a trampoline. Please do not answer this with a big speel about how trampolines are death traps. I want to know if jumping on a trmapoline is conidered good excersize? Because i LOVE it, and I need to get in shape and I'm just not motivated to do any excersizes for whatever reason.

I would say it would be good exercises I mean you are jumping around and using your leg muscles. I know when I go to my friends house and jump on there trampoline my legs always hurt after wards and I think it is because I am using muscles that I don't usually use.

Have fun with your new trampoline Don't fall off. Lol

Yeah, certainly. If you get a decent sweat going, than you will burn some calories. The less bouncy the better, cause you have to push harder and more often. Mini trampolines are great excercise, but a big one should be of some physical benefit as well.

Yes, absolutely. Anything that gets you moving and gets your heart rate up is good exercise. It will help you lose some weight but probably won't be much good for toning your muscles. Except in your legs of course. Congrats on your new place.

if you can, get a weight vest and wear it while you jump, that should be a strong exercise. i did it, and still do, only i don't have a trampoline. and just jumping is good, it gets the cardiovascular system working and it burns calories.

Yes, from mildly aerobic to intense, depending on how you use it. From your statement, you do more than just bounce up and down. I can be a great exercise at it also benefits your sense of balance.

It will not be much of a muscle builder, used by itself.

I like jumping on the trampoline too! It tighens the muscles in your legs. Plus, it you do flips, it will make you more flexible...
