What seems to be hunger pains, might be your body reacting to what you are eating. If your stomach is growling, that is another indication that digestion isn't going well. What tests did the doctor do? Was it just blood work or did you have an ultrasound or an upper GI series? Did they take a look at your gall bladder? Write down all of your symptoms and compare them with the tests. Do you feel that everything was really investigated? Is the doctor testing you for food allergies?
You can safely rub peppermint oil on your stomach area once or twice a day. You can drink a cup of peppermint tea. Steep it, covered, for 3 minutes and sip slowly. You should only drink one or two cups all day. Herbs are medicines. A health food store would carry a good brand of the oil and tea.
While you are looking into all of this medically, I would look at your diet. Do you start the day with fruit and a healthy cereal or eggs? If you are drinking coffee, I would eliminate that right away. You may be creating an excessive amount of acid that can cause this very thing. Coffee is a big culprit of stomach pain and growling. Also eat fruits or veggies between meals...don't eat fruits and raw veggies together. Their enzymes fight and can cause problems too. Try smaller meals and eat all your fresh foods first and then eat cooked foods. I would eat very bland foods like brown rice, whole wheat toast, chicken, turkey and lots of fruits and veggies. After a few days, if it is just stomach upset, slowly add back in your usual foods....one food a day....and see which ones may bother you. If it is fish, eggs, onions, apples, coffee, sugars, it may just be your gall bladder. Does your right shoulder hurt at all? Also a symptom of gall bladder problems.
Now don't worry. If it is your gall bladder, you can fix it herbally if you see a Naturopathic doctor or a chiropractor that has herbal knowledge. You may want to go to a reputable chiroprator anyway. They can pick up on things that can be easily missed by tests.
If you do not sleep enough, this can upset your stomach too. Evaluate your life style and see if you can't make some comfortable changes that you know you can do. Take care of yourself.

Eat more frequently, six small meals a day as opposed to three large ones. Also the growling is a normal sound of digestion.
