Eat several (5-6) small meals a day...your body will burn calories faster and build your metabolism in a short period of time.
(eat about every 2 hours)
The first 8-10 pounds you shed is water.
Meal suggestions:
1st: piece of fruit
2nd: string cheese, summer sausage, cottage cheese/yogurt
3rd: bowl of cereal
4th: soup/sandwich
5th: a good dinner-meat, potatoes/pasta/rice, veggie...your body needs carbs, protein and vitamins to stay healthy
6th: salad/raw veggies
Drink plenty of water
Drink milk or juice/water with every meal (no soda pop)
Stay away from munchies, fried & fatty foods.
Cardio workouts are great to lose weight and build muscle, most people do not continue for an extended time and gain the weight back... doing daily simple exercise like walking/hiking...swimming and biking are low impact, playing games like basketball, baseball, volleyball will tone your body and you'll have fun doing it.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Green Tea. But it makes you go potty a lot. Too much of anything is not good. Make sure u eat, but healthy. Good luck:)

go jogging everyday and eat nutrient filled foods...
fiber will slow down digestion (which will essentially keep you full for a longer period of time), so try to have food with about 2-4 grams of fiber with whatever you eat

Do some research on the GRAPEFRUIT diet. It works for some but like all other diets, its short lived.

grab a pair of sneakers and take a jog.. or brisk walking. buy one lb weights to strap to your wrists or ankles while you walk and you'll tone your muscles even more.
