my boyfriend has a jaw infection and its in the bone and its not lock jaw what would cause it

And yes bone is living tissue that has a blood supply..which would explain how bacteria could get into the bone.

its really a staph infection!dentist just recently realized that and now use a different kind of antibiotics!and it can be quite dangerous if left untreated!
