That's funny. You don't actually create life. The life that God has already given you is passed on to a child. Now, if you could take some inanimate matter and create a new life, you might have a case for being a "god". But you didn't create your reproductive organs or the eggs that are inside of you, God did.

No, and I am not mad.

I think some religions think like that, that women are holy because they create life. But this sounds like the judeo-Christian God as you refer to it, so

No, because it takes two cells from different people to make a human being. And the thinking is that God created Life, the Universe, and Everything by himself, without help or anyone else's contributions. The thinking is also that God can create multiple forms of life, while a human can only create other humans (that are fertile, anyway- I've never heard of experiments otherwise.)

Well, do you feel like a God? Have you created a universe lately? Do you know what the hell everyone is doing at this minute, 45 minutes ago, and 15 years from now? Do you have the power to create life ON DEMAND?

If the answer to any of this is yes, then sure, you're a God.
If not, well ... sorry.

Well God uses both a man and a woman in the creation process. We are just vessels. I think if we were all gods, that would make a pretty crazy universe. Just think of some of the wacko people you know. Would you want them to be a god? Not me. There are some crazy people out there.

I'm an athiest, but I love trying to answer these types anyways. I would say that under your religion, God created life, and you are using the tools of life that he gave you to create life (eggs, sperm). You cannot creat the afformentioned tools, so you are not a god.

Try to get pregnant without using one of God's creations (man) He created us to multiply. Therefore, just because a woman can have children, doesn't in anyway make her a god.

You can't create life. You conceive life. Creation is taking nothing and making something of it.

Two scientists challenged God to a contest of creating a man. They said to God: "We have discovered the secret of life."
God took them up on their challenge and they met in a large empty field. God said: "You go first." So the scientists bent down and grabbed a handful of dirt.
God said: "Get your own dirt."

why would that be blasphemy? yes, you are god... native americans believe that gitchie manitou, or great spirit, or great unknown... or a dozen other things is all of us together as a collective whole... kind of like there are sharks, and kelp and sea turtles etc.... but they are all apart of the ocean.... the water courses through them, makes up a part of who they are.... so it is with us.... god is neither good nor bad, woman nor man... god is all. god is everything from the big bang to the giant contraction and all the moments in between... we create ourselves and our world around us by the thoughts that course through our minds.... you are a god... i am a god... we are god together...

Mankind was created in God's image.
Eventually we will evolve into Gods.
